Revolutionary BeBot Robot Will Assist Volunteer Team
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., – October 19, 2022— Boatsetter, the leading marketplace for on-water experiences and boat rentals in the U.S., is sponsoring a clean-up of Riviera Beach on October 29, during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). “The company is partnering with Keep Palm Beach County Beautiful, Searial Cleaners, The Beach Bucket Foundation, Surface 71, and the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County.”
The event, which will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. at Ocean Reef Park, will include a demonstration of the BeBot, an eco-friendly beach cleaning robot that mechanically sifts sand to remove plastic waste and other debris without harming the local environment. A traditional volunteer-based beach clean-up will also take place and there will be prizes raffled off for those in attendance.
