There’s nothing quite like a boat show. Whether you’re getting the first feel of your dream boat, you’re there to grab a couple of those hard-to-get boating accessories, or if you’re just there to check out what’s hot and new, it’s guaranteed to be time well-spent. Here are five hot shows you’re going to want to hit up in 2019.
Miami International Boat Show
Miami provides the perfect backdrop for a boat show. The lights, the glitter, and the glamour—all of it combines to set the stage for perhaps one of the most epic annual boating events in the world. And of course, you’ll want to stop by the Boatsetter booth to grab a cool t-shirt for either listing your boat, signing up as a renter or to simply learn more about the platform!
Newport In-Water Boat Show
Hosted in Lido Marina Village, the Newport In-Water Boat Show provides a fantastic experience for the entire family. There will be yachts galore, from small to medium to large to gargantuan. The price, as always, is inexpensive at $15 for adults and free for children 12 years old and younger. There will also be more than 200 boats on display. If you’re seriously considering buying a new boat or just upgrading good ol’ faithful, this is the place to be.
Chicago Yacht Club: Power & Sail In-Water Tech Show
With free drinks, appetizers and live music, what’s not to like about the Chicago Yacht Club: Power & Sail In-Water Tech Show? And what’s more? It’s free. There will be over 13 different dealers with a selection of new yachts for your viewing pleasure. The best the Great Lakes area has to offer will be there, and the family-friendly atmosphere ensures that everyone has a great time.
2019 United States Powerboat Show
Jam-packed with at least 383 exhibitors, the 2019 United States Powerboat Show is guaranteed to have something—or everything—you want. The seaport of Annapolis, filled with marine history, serves as the host for one of the most comprehensive boat shows in the entire world.
Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show
It’s been 60 years now, and the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show is better than ever. In 2019, you are in for a treat of about 1,200 boats on display across seven locations in Florida. Even more comprehensive than the event in Annapolis, there will be around 1,000 exhibitors displaying their goods. Come for the boats, stay for the food. Not only will the cuisine be delectable, but there will be a live cooking battle as chefs vie for the title of the best yacht chef.
Regardless of which show you choose to attend, it’s going to be hot. The year of 2019 offers some of the best boat shows available, and if you’re in the market for any type of boat or boating accessory, you’re guaranteed to get a leg up on your search—not to mention, see some incredible boats and yachts—when you attend.
