Boatsetter’s peer to peer boat sharing network is now available to Marinas International customers across the US

For Immediate Release – July 23, 2015  – Marinas International proudly announced today its partnership with Boatsetter.com, the collaborative peer-to-peer marketplace that matches boat owners of quality boats with renters seeking experiences on the water. Boatsetter is the technology startup that that has been disrupting the multi-billion dollar marine industry since it launched in 2014 as the first peer-to-peer company offering captained boats to recreational boat renters.

Boatsetter, launched by a team of tech savvy entrepreneurs with strong business backgrounds in the marine industry, has created an online community that connects all of the key players of the boating industry – recreational boaters, boat owners, boat captains, marinas and marine industry businesses. The “boat sharing” platform allows private boat owners to safely charter their boats to boaters – complete with an experienced captain, which means previous boating experience is not required to get out on the water with family and friends.

The company’s  success relies on creating an ecosystem where boats are available to everyone regardless of their boating experience, in addition to offsetting the high costs for boat owners and carving a pathway for boat captains to create new income opportunities.

A unique and integral part of Boatsetter’s business model is the creation of its powerful Affiliate Program, which creates win-win opportunities for industry leaders, such as Marinas International to become a part of the new boat-sharing or peer-to-peer market.

Through its affiliation with Boatsetter, Marinas International will find new ways to connect with existing customers, attract new customers, and continue to find additional revenue sources through the sale of ancillary products and services.

“Marinas International is proud to be affiliated with Boatsetter. They truly understand the unique marine industry and are providing innovative solutions that are poised to help us grow. We are excited to now offer our customers a quality boat sharing program that we trust.” Jeff Rose, VP of Marinas International commented.

“Marinas International’s name is equated with experience, quality and service. We are extremely proud that they have chosen to align with Boatsetter. We are dedicated to providing a new and profitable solution to our affiliate partners as we continue to grow our business,” remarked Andy Sturner, Chairman and CEO of Boatsetter.
