Nearby restaurants include Clear Sky on Cleveland, Emily’s Restaurant, and the 530 Pub and Grill.
The marina is open to all on a first-come, first-served basis and offers 126 boat slips and daytime and overnight side-tie moorings. Amenities include restrooms and showers, electricity, water, pump-out service, laundry facilities, and 24-hour security. There is also fuel for sale and a free waste oil dump tank, plus much more for a boater’s convenience.
2. Cove Cay Marina
Located on Cove Cay Drive, just minutes from Clearwater Beach, Cove Cay Marina offers plenty. The marina offers boat storage and lift slips. There is also access to maintenance, repairs, oil changes, and a mechanic on site.
The Marina Bar and Grill provides a select menu of fresh seafood dishes and appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches, tacos, and more. Go fishing, bring your catch back to the grill, and let the chefs prepare it to your specifications. Add a refreshing cocktail to complement the meal.
3. Clearwater Beach Marina
Boaters needing a full-service marina can add Clearwater Beach Marina to their list. Located at 25 Causeway Boulevard, the marina offers a total of 207 slips, 23 dedicated to transient docking. Plenty of amenities are available to ensure a memorable vacation. Various amenities at the marina include gas and diesel fuel, pump-out service, service and maintenance, a ship store, wi-fi, a picnic area, bait and tackle, ATM, restrooms, and laundry facilities.
There are plenty of things to do, from nearby jet ski rentals to booking a charter fishing excursion. Dining options near the marina are plentiful, too, and include eateries such as Crabby’s Dockside, Salt Cracker Fish Camp, Roundabout Pizza, and Poke Havana.
4. City of Belleair Beach Marina
The Belleair Beach Marina is located on Gulf Boulevard adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. The marina offers rental space for residents and non-residents of the city.
After a day on the beach, enjoy waterfront views in a relaxed atmosphere at Maggie Mae’s Waterfront, located in Sand Key, or visit the second location, Maggie Mae’s on the Bluffs, located in Belleair Bluffs.
5. Dunedin Marina
At the Dunedin Marina, there are four slips at the day dock for public use. There is a 4-hour limit, and the slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tie up at the dock, walk to the Olde Bay Cafe, and relax on the deck while enjoying lunch or dinner. The marina is just 22 minutes away from Caladesi Island State Park and 6.5 miles from Clearwater Beach.
The marina is a short distance from Edgewater Park, with waterfront views and a playground. There are also two nearby gift shops and various inland restaurants and cafes. For a relaxing stroll and views of the sunset, there’s the Dunedin Pier open until 11 pm, and for a fine dining experience, enjoy a delectable meal with waterfront views at Bon Appetit Restaurant and Bar, doing business since 1976.
6. Caladesi Island State Park Boat Slips
Located at the mouth of Tampa Bay and near Dunedin, Caladesi Island State Park is an adventure to enjoy. If you will be visiting by boat, take advantage of the convenience of the park’s marina. There are 108 slips and floating docks with water hookups and a 30-amp electric service. There is also a snack bar to refuel your energy level, plus a gift shop and a covered pavilion with a grill. Three of the sites are ADA-accessible.
While there are no restaurants on Caladesi Island, there are plenty to choose from off the island. Check out the Gulf views from the patio at Marker B with its tasty tiki bar, savor the flavors at the High & Dry Grill, or please your palate every day of your stay with a meal at Brenda’s On the Causeway.
