Climb aboard Daffy Sailboat for sailing lessons designed for beginners or those interested in doing something different for a change. Learn from Top Owner Charlie, who holds a USCG 50 Ton Masters License with the Sailing Endorsement and has decades experience in sailing a variety of sailboat types and sizes. The Daffy is, in fact, his 7th sailboat.

Born on Miami Beach and has lived in Fort Lauderdale for over 40 years. Came to Lauderdale for the sailing!! I have my USCG 50 Ton Masters License with the Sailing Endorsement. I have a tremendous love for the ocean. There is no bad boating day, just some that are better than others. The DAFFY sailboat is my 7th sailboat over 24' in the past 40 years but love this boat so much, I have owned it for 25 yrs. Now, Sept 2017, replaced the Old DAFFY 40ft Hunter with a 2008 Catalina 387 39ft. I have been a competition swimmer with the Masters Swimming Program, a snorkeler, and a fisherman. I sold my flooring contracting business 2 1/2 years ago after 26 years and wanted to do something FUN in my retirement. I look forward to making new friends with the sailing charter. I have never met someone I couldn't learn something from. Hope you come with me for the ride , SOON !!

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
