Rental includes: 12 gallons of gas (5 MPG average dependent on speed and sea conditions), Life vests, (have kids vests as well), 1 cooler, if you are fishing can include the second one. Fuel is not included in rental price, Renter pays for fuel used.





What You Can Expect:

22 foot Arca Panga, well-appointed for inshore fishing, cruising, diving or surf trip. This is a fishing boat, so does not have a bunch of padded seating. Great boat for exploring San Diego or for a day of fishing.



San Diego coastline has a lot offer year-round, depending on the time of the year you can see Blue whales, humpbacks, gray whales, dolphins, and sunfish (Mola mola).



It has a bench seat for 2, a cooler seat that fits 1-2 person and will include a bean bag seat if needed. Very seaworthy, but due to narrow beam (6.5 feet) will ride a little wet with a headwind when in the ocean. Large stern bair tank holds 1 scoop of bait. Fishes up to 4 adults, can accommodate up to 6 people for cruising . Has Excellent electronics (Simrad NSS 7 Evo 3), VHF, and compass. Also has a total of 13-rod holders and plenty of storage. Powered by a 70hp Yamaha 4 stroke, cruises at 18-20 mph, maxes out at 24-26 mph dependent on the weight of crew and gear. Best feature on the boat is a bow mount trolling motor, which makes fishing the bay and kelp beds very enjoyable as you have complete control of your drift and can even "anchor" on a spot with the GPS spot lock feature. The boat has low freeboard so if you dive or surf you have easy access back into the skiff. Pickup and drop-off is at Shelter Island Launch Ramp in San Diego Bay.



*We recommend bringing waterproof windbreakers and an additional warm layer (Even in the summer) as offshore weather conditions may vary.



*We encourage passengers to bring reusable water bottles, single-use plastic is detrimental to marine life. Please ensure all trash, including fishing line ends up in cooler or other trash.
