The boat

Our boat is well-maintained and equipped with all necessary safety equipment. It is simple to drive, user-friendly, and comes with a quick tutorial to ensure you're comfortable before you hit the water. The boat capacity is eight persons or 1065 pounds. Please do the math on the total weight of your party to ensure your safety and optimal boat performance.

Features include: Bluetooth stereo with 3.5mm aux input, Bimini Top (this is the retractable cover that provides shade for the main cabin), Brand new inflatable 3-person towable tube, Kneeboard (great for beginners!) and rope, Life vests for adults and children, Anchor, All required safety equipment.

There is no better way to experience the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe than from the water, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Visit the famous Tahoe City dam that feeds the Truckee River, cruise the shores of Crystal Bay to soak in the multi-dollar shoreline homes, or head down to Emerald Bay and climb to the Tea House at the top of Fannette Island.

We will pick up and drop off at Moon Dune Beach in Tahoe Vista. There is plenty of free parking on the street.

Before payment, we can answer questions through the Boatsetter messaging platform. Once a booking is confirmed, we’ll communicate by phone.

Other notes:

* Fuel will be charged after the rental is returned. The tank has a 30-gallon capacity. Most 8-hour rentals use between 10 and 15 gallons, resulting in approximately $70-115 in fuel charges.

* Please remove all trash, food, and debris at the end of your rental period. A $50 cleaning fee will be charged if we need to clean the boat after your rental, including but not limited to stains, spills, and crumbs. Permanent or severe damage will be filed as a claim against the security deposit. * We cannot provide a captain for this boat at this time.

* Occasionally, Tahoe has poor weather or extreme winds that make boating unsafe. In these cases, we may cancel your reservation at our discretion. If so, we will offer you a full refund or priority rebooking for a future date.

Guidelines and Do’s & Don’ts for a safe day on Lake Tahoe:

* Fully charge your phone the night before. There is a charger on the boat but it’s best to start at 100%

* Tahoe Boating App - Download ahead as it is beneficial for newbies on our beautiful jewel of a lake

* Whenever passengers are in the water around the boat, raise the orange flag and turn off the engine.

*** NO WAKE ZONES:

—— less than 600ft (two football fields) from the shoreline

—— inside buoy fields

—— approaching docks and marinas

*** Beware of hazards:

—— Listen to the depth finder warning beeps.

—— Chunky white buoys mark many underwater hazards: stay clear

—— There are numerous underwater boulders along the east shore: stay away from the shoreline

—— Entrance to Emerald Bay: aim straight in at the entrance from a distance. There are many underwater boulders on the west side.

—— Check the forecast often and watch the sky. The weather can change quickly, so if it gets dangerous, you’ll want to be close to the drop-off point.
