Sail on Lake Tahoe

Discover the thrill and beauty of sailing on Lake Tahoe aboard the Hobie 33 "Aero". Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or completely new to sailing, this boat is the perfect way to explore the lake from a unique, hands-on perspective. With a licensed captain at the helm, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the ropes, including hoisting and trimming sails, and steering the boat. No prior sailing experience is necessary, and kids as young as 4 can join in on the fun. A maximum of 6 passengers can sail aboard the Aero.



You'll learn how to hoist and trim sails and even steer the boat. Sailing is very easy and anyone can do it with a little guidance.



If you want to rent the boat without a captain, you can do that too but you must have some documented sailing experience aboard keelboats. Please reach out to us prior to booking if you want to rent the boat without a captain and tell us about your sailing experience.



Please note that there is no toilet on the boat and that we do need to board the boat using a rubber dinghy. This experience is not recommended for people that are severely overweight or might have trouble walking up/down stairs.
