The boat

Well maintained Cape Dory 25D, sloop rigged, furling head sail, full batten main, tiller helm, inboard diesel. Sleeps up to 4 (two adults; two children). Has a wet head with an electric push-button flush toilet (very easy to use). Two burner alcohol stove. Ice box large enough for a weekend cruise.



My favorite anchorages are in The Wharf DC and South down the Potomac across from Mt. Vernon.



Fuel, fresh water (not recommended for drinking), and waste tank pump out taken care of by owner. All you have to do is provision for your voyage whether it’s for 4 hours or a few days.



Owner is a USCG licensed captain, and certified professional sailing instructor. If a captain or instruction is desired, please annotated that in your reservation request.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
