What is an Electric Boat?

Electric motors are virtually silent, and generally speaking there’s more noise from water splashing against the hull of the boat than there is from the motor. Gas-powered outboards, on the other hand, can create over 90 decibels while running, which is about as much as a loud lawn mower.
